We use eye tracking (EyeLink II, SR Research)
and a motion capture system (Optotrak, NDI)
to study hand-eye coordination in 3D space. Precise temporal synchronization between the systems is achieved via the DataPixx
(VPixx Technologies).
The VPixx software can be used to present stereoscopic images, as well as complex visual displays that can be
synchronized precisely with the eye tracker and the motion capture system in order to obtain concurrent gaze and limb motion in 3D space.
We meet every 2 weeks to discuss and critically evaluate recent articles in neuroscience and motor control.
Every student working in the lab will have the opportunity to present a paper that is relevant to their research project.
Below is our journal club schedule for the next
term and the articles presented will be listed closer to the date.
